Blaze O'Halloran and her friend Phylis (Phil) Martindel. I've pained them up in 'action' clothing as well as 'about-town' clothes. I thought this would be useful depending on where they go adventuring. Here are the pictures:-

All the best!
Nice painting. The skirt pattern designs are very nice.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, Jay :-D
DeleteI really need to do armed and casual versions of my characters. That's a nice touch. Fully in agreement with Jay about the skirt patterns. They're both stylish ladies in simple and well coordinated but dignified ensembles.
ReplyDeleteThank you, The Composer, I found the cross pattern on Blaze's skirt frustrating but ultimately simple to do.
DeleteYou shouldn't kiss a girl when you're wearing that gun... leaves a bruise
ReplyDelete-Claire Trevor in Murder, My Sweet (1945) Nicely painted James! The Pulp Gnere is certainly one of my favourites....even I don't know all that much about it!
Cheers
Col
Keep quoting, Col! I'll work that one from Ms Trevor in for sure.
DeleteTremendous, I love the about town/adventurer comparisons, a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Michael. The idea makes sense even if it costs more money ;-)
